Life Happens

I’ve been so excited about my study abroad opportunity to Ireland, excited to see the country again, excited to travel. However, realistically I don’t believe that I can afford to go. Four thousand dollars, in four months? It sounds easy enough, but since I’ve been struggling to find a job this last month, it’s just… not in the cards.

This doesn’t mean that I’m giving up, though. Far from it. Eventually, I will find a way to return to Ireland, to see Scotland. But… right now, I just need to focus on other goals and other things in life. I’ve been lucky enough to go to Ireland, England, Wales, and Italy all in a year’s time (July 2023 to May 2024), and not everyone has that luck.

So, while I am sad that I need to pass on the opportunity to be abroad again, it’s not a forever goodbye. It’s a ‘see you later’, because somehow, someway, I will get there. I just need to be patient.
